Sea Star Search

There may not have been many sea stars at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve the other day, but there was plenty of beauty…and, a couple of nudibranchs (see below)! 😀 On a side note, the header picture I used on the top of our blog page (of the sea star) and on the home page (sea urchin pic) were taken at this exact location in October of 2012. I remember that the tide pools were teaming with urchins, sea stars, sea anemones, etc. Quite a difference from what we saw the other day. (I also saw two sunstars that day, which was pretty amazing).
